At PrinterMake, we take your privacy and the security of your data seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our 3D building platform and related services.

To provide the PrinterMake experience, we collect information in the following ways:

Account Information: We use Clerk as our primary authentication provider. When you create an account, we receive your email address, username, and profile image.
Creation Data: Any 3D worlds, scripts, and assets you build or upload to the PrinterMake Studio are stored on our servers to enable cloud-saving and multi-device access.
Social Interaction: Messaging history and friend lists are stored to facilitate communication between users.
Third-Party Integrations: If you use the YouTube Music integration, we temporarily store access tokens to browse and play your liked tracks within the application. We do not store your Google password or private personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used strictly to:

Maintain and secure your user profile.
Provide the core multiplayer and social features of the platform.
Improve the platform’s performance and stability during our Alpha development phase.
Communicate critical updates regarding your account or security.

3. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers (like Clerk for auth or our hosting partners) necessary to operate the platform. We employ industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

5. Your Control and Rights

You have full control over your data. You may:

Update or delete your account information through the Profile Settings.
Request a copy of your stored data.
Delete any published 3D creations at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

PrinterMake is intended for creators of all ages, but we comply with COPPA and global privacy standards. Users under the age of 13 require parental consent for account creation.
